Membership is open to those who have served in our military and receive services at one of the bases where we have a presence (including Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and the overseas communities we serve) as well as to those who live, work attend school in the DC area or are part of a Select Group we serve.

In addition, you can become a member through the American Consumer Council. When you begin the membership application process, you can opt to automatically be enrolled in the American Consumer Council and make the credit union joining process simple and seamless.

You can join Andrews Federal from anywhere, thanks to our Digital Banking technology. It’s easy to access our website and open an account in minutes.

However, if you are in the Maryland area, we invite you to officially begin your membership at our new Upper Marlboro branch location. At our new Upper Marlboro branch, you’ll have the opportunity to:
